December Virtual Training: Preparing Your Township for Website Accessibility Requirements

In 2026, units of government with 50,000 residents or more must comply with new rules to ensure people with disabilities can access information on their website. The deadline for units of government with less than 50,000 residents is in 2027.

Professionals from CivicPlus Solutions will present on the topic. Their Market Research team will present feedback they have received from citizens regarding accessibility when interacting with local government websites. This will be followed by a demonstration on accessibility solutions available to members and time for questions.
